Shah Rukh Khan/ SRK fondly known as King Khan by his fans made his debut as a lead actor in the film Deewana (1992). He got his first major hit as a lead actor with the movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) which gave him stardom. There was no turning back after that and SRK at present is considered a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for Deewana which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in SRKs career so far areBaazigar (1993), Darr (1993), Anjaam (1994), Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Dil To Pagal Hai (1997), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Mohabbatein (2000), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Devdas (2002), Chak De! India (2007), My Name Is Khan (2010), Chennai Express (2013), Happy New Year (2014), Dilwale (2015), and Raees (2017) to name a few. Sharukh son of Taj Mohammed Khan and Lateef Fatima Khan was born on 2 November 1965 in New Delhi. He completed his schooling at St. Columbas School in central Delhi. He then pursued his bachelors degree in Economics from Hansraj College. He received Padma Shri from The Government of India and Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and the Legion of Honour from the Government of France.
