Farhan Akhtar

Farhan Akhtar made his debut as an actor in the film Rock On!! (2008). It was in 2011 he got wide recognition as an actor with the movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. There was no turning back after that and Farhan at present is considered as a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the IIFA Awards for Best Screenplay for Kya Kehna which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Farhans career so far areDil Chahta Hai (2001), Lakshya (2004), Bride and Prejudice (2004), Don (2006), Rock On!! (2008), Luck By Chance (2009), Karthik Calling Karthik (2010), Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011), Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013), Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), and The Fakir of Venice (2019) to name a few. Farhan son of screenwriters Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani was born on 9 January 1974 in Mumbai. He studied at Maneckji Cooper school in Mumbai and went on to study for a law degree from the HR College in Mumbai.
